- Recommended climate conditions are 55°F-80°F/40-75%rH.
- Sand and prepare floors according to NWFA guidelines.
- ALWAYS PREPARE A SAMPLE OR TEST AREA TO DETERMINE COMPATIBILITY, APPEARANCE, AND DESIRED RESULTS.
- Shake material well before use.
- Do not thin. Do not add water.
- Do not apply at temperatures below 55°F (13°C). Make sure material is at room temperature. Always maintain adequate ventilation during all phases of the coating and drying process.
- Apply evenly at the recommended coverage rate. Avoid streaks, puddles, and lap marks.
- The UV-curing process is carried out with an UV-curing unit, with a capacity of approx. 3000watt/ozone-free. In order to achieve a full curing a light intensity of at least 300mJ/cm² has to be achieved. For example with the DecoRad® Floormate. At a speed of 8m/min (08.0 on Display).
- Rush reacts when exposed to light. The container has to be closed immediately after use.
- Before the operation of the UV-curing unit all safety instructions from the machine manufacturer must be observed. The working area has to be marked visibly for everyone and should be sectioned off.
- The use of specific safety goggles or safety visors is required; UV-light can cause vision damage.

Coverage
1000-1250 square feet per 2.5 gallon per coat.
Drying time
- Can be carefully walked on after 3 hours.
- Earliest possible UV-light curing after 3 hours.
- Intermediate sanding immediately after UV curing.
- Final hardness immediately after UV curing.
- If there is a delay in drying wait until you can see that the surface is completely dry.
Recommended Procedure for re-coating of wood floors:
Always perform the “cross Hatch” test and the “cointest” test for adhesion on a test area of existing finish prior to full scale application.
Application:
- Remove all wax, oil, grease and dirt by deep cleaning the floor with LOBA Remover (follow instructions on the Technical Data Sheet of Remover)
- Perform intermediate sanding with LOBASAND perforated pad 180-220 (or equivalent). Vacuum floor then tack using a LOBA Mop and a new/clean LOBA microfiber mop pad lightly dampened with water to remove all dust.
- Apply Rush
- Let dry 3 hours
- Light-cure with a UV-curing unit @ 300mJ/cm²
Check:
Check following features on the test area during and after the application
- Most important test the adhesion immediately after UV-curing by performing a coin test and cross hatch test. See pictures below.
- ASTM Adhesion TEST
- Make sure the surface looks ok. No disturbances and even gloss level.
If the tests performed are positive apply procedure as described above full scale.

Recommended Procedure for finishing wood floors:
- Apply EasyPrime and let dry according to the Technical Data Sheet
- Apply Rush
- Let dry 3 hours
- Light-cure with a UV-curing unit @ 300mJ/cm²
- Intermediate sanding with LOBASAND 180-220 perforated pad (or equivalent). Vacuum floor then tack using a LOBA Mop and a new/clean LOBA microfiber mop pad lightly dampened with water to remove all dust.
- Apply Rush
- Let dry 3 hours
- Light-cure with a UV-curing unit @300mJ/m²
Recommended Procedure for finishing wood floors in combination with LOBA Stain:
- Apply Stain according to the Technical Data Sheet
- Let dry 2 hours
- Apply EasyPrime and let dry according to the Technical Data Sheet
- Apply Rush
- Let dry 3 hours
- Light-cure with a UV-curing unit @ 300mJ/cm²
- Intermediate sanding with LOBASAND 180-220 perforated pad (or equivalent). Vacuum floor then tack using a LOBA Mop and a new/clean LOBA microfiber mop pad lightly dampened with water to remove all dust.
